I've been a skeptic of blockchain technology proving useful in application as currency... for a long time.

I do see lots of utility in the concept... including utility in some financial transactions (working on some ideas there)... but think the best features used in pitching it as "money" actually work against its use.

Of course, every analysis should always be divided between what you know or believe to be true, while having great confidence in your own ability in analysis... and what you believe others in the market are likely to believe... as (hopefully) those are often radically different things.

I can't bring myself to buy bitcoin now... because I failed to buy it when I could, at prices well below a penny.

Of course... I'm still confident in my analysis... and might well be proven right in my expectations, in time.

But, meanwhile... my bank account is resentful of my self assurance.
