Very well said.

Makes me think of The Long Boom article a few months back in Wired.
wired.com

What would be a good source(commercial publication)of the antithesis of this optomistic theory from a 'Bear' vs. 'Bull' mindset?

Iqbal, I think that we both agree on the long term view, we are going to add a good 100,000,000 new consumers to the world economy in the next 10 years beyond the natural growth of the developped countries and this will supply the demand for the world economy engine and absorb whatever temporary overcapacity is in place right now. But in the short term, if we do not stimulate demand, a spiraling down defalationary process could still bring the world economy on its knee. That is why i see the next few months as still dangerous.

RE: "... in Europe I see a big boom soon ... I see 1999-2000 as growth years for humanity ... I see affluence expanding like fire even in poverty stricken communities ... I keep my hopes of a big leap forward in human effort to confront misery poverty and disease ... in US people recently realised that how much important it is that hunanity may collectively thrive ..."

Wow, I love that picture!!! Lord, let it be so!

Best wishes,
