*Slightly on Topic * Regulation T regarding Marginable Securities: ny.frb.org In the text it explains that a stock only needs to be on the FRB approved list to be marginable (even without NMS). Although the listing is out quarterly, stocks may be added to the list in the interim (FYI, next list out this February). In certain cases dealers are allowed leeway in determining how much margin is extended, but gives no further details.
