With MMT there's a risk that you can be right for the wrong reasons, and visa versa... or four different ways...

It's essentially a series of economic navigation questions...

You might be exactly right about how each move you plan "should" alter the course you're on...

But, if it turns out you weren't actually where you thought you were when you started out. ? Could end up with an Amelia Earhart economy... leaving history uncertain when and where it really died, or what the final words uttered were... but, in any case... it just never came back...

Other issues with $ as "fuel".... plan it just right... but get the mileage wrong... and run out too soon ?

Or, "how much debt is too much"... as in Japan... an excess in extra baggage that comes in lots of forms.

Its an unknown what the impact of some variables might be... so the tolerances might change over time... and, still, you'll never know when you hit "too much"... until you have... and then there's not much you can do.

Lots of uncertainties... all of which leave it unclear that we'll ever benefit from having tested it...

But, "we" don't appear likely to get a vote on whether or not the risks will be taken ?
