They wrote off Goodwill and legacy assets from their SVU acquisition. Still got a great deal when the smoke cleared.

Any idea why UNFI has been losing money for the last two years despite a slight, ongoing increase in its Gross Revenues ? Nope, I barely follow the company. I bought a very small bit around $8 earlier in the year just because someone here liked it, and it was involved in food, which I had little exposure to at the time. It went up about 150% and I trimmed the position, but held some still. Since then most of the press releases I've read have seemed positive, but my knowledge of the company is far from deep. I'm not even 100% sure what they do :-) Others here have a better understanding than me. I believe the pandemic changes (eating at home) has helped their business. Uhmmmm, ask me questions about SIMO!
