Re <<I just read that Sweden is having second thoughts about its "herd immunity" strategy>>

bears watching, because whatever happens there, at end of spectrum, bodes same elsewhere, as necessity. Same same w/r to what China does, at the other end of the spectrum.

The domains in the middle, the vast majority, which are neither here nor there, between Sweden and China, are not in a good place.

Am trying to puzzle out whether there could be two correct answers to the same test question.

Where did you read that - gotta source?

Just saw a tweet today that claimed Sweden is removing all restrictions for those over the age of 70.
Sweden's Covid-19 death rate is practically zero, and has been for a couple of months now - they got it more right / made fewer mistakes than almost every other country.

More evidence that your source was not only wrong, they actually had it backwards. Sweden is relaxing measures for the elderly.

Sweden Refuses To Impose New Lockdown Measures, Saying People Have Suffered Enough

zerohedge.com
“We cannot only think about infection control,” said Lena Hallengren, Sweden’s health minister, “we also need to think about public health.”
However, as Newsweek acknowledged, Sweden’s COVID-19 death rate is lower than those of Spain, the UK and Italy, countries which all imposed draconian lockdowns.
