Del, what I was basically saying is that nuclear weapons are not totally positive. There is certainly a huge danger inherent in their existence, particularly in the hands of unstable dictators. Where did you get your figures that billions would survive nuclear attack, incidentally? My understanding is that with direct hits, fall-out and nuclear winter, we could easily kill everyone on earth. If we as earth's inhabitants are more like a case of fleas on a dog, why is the dog getting so sick? Why are you so idealistic about building solar-powered houses? You can't really have it both ways!!
