Yup, stupid old oil jobs, what were people thinking. Now we can knit sunbeams together with chopsticks and eat dead birds killed by windmills.

RDK,
More new "green" high tech jobs, will be better paying and add "more" to the economy than old oil jobs.
Paid for by what? "Green energy" is still highly subsidized. Solar and wind energy still costs much more than natural gas, and it is highly unreliable.

"buT buT tenchU wuT abouT oiL subsidieS?" I'm against them, but don't kid yourself. The "oil subsidies" argument has been greatly exaggerated and repeated by those who don't have a clue how the industry works.
