Fauci did exactly the same thing when asked in front of congress about the veracity of the Swedish approach. He dismissed the question/debate out of hand by citing a limited comparison of only countries that agree with his perspective and dismissing all of the other data as irrelevant. And this notable unscientific comparison (made by the doctor/expert formerly in charge of policy) has been propagandized and spread throughout the US as gospel proof that the Swedish approach was folly. In other words, to me it looked like to me that you were just repeating what you were meant to believe and repeat. And case in point of the subject not being opened for a reasoned discussion with most people in the US...including with the one that mattered the most aka Fauci.
