It's easy to prove every country that has free trade benefited from it. It's impossible to prove free trade harmed any country. A free people can buy from whom they want. The anti-globalists want the government to pick and choose who we can buy from and it's most likely going to be based on submission and not product superiority. China has a new mid range phone which costs $190. I want to buy it. It's cheap. It's very, very good. I can't buy it because dictatorship-leaning people tell me I have to pay more for a lower quality phone and if I do this I'll be a poorer American who's forced to conform. I don't do conform.
