also, even while the Chinese were reporting hundreds of additional infections PER DAY, he said there is not evidence YET of person to person transmission....INCREDIBLE..........then look at the CDC testing FIASCO........ look at Fauci advising against the China ban when in reality Trump had the correct instinct although it was a month late and not comprehensive enough........look at the hydroxychloroquine controversy .........I could go on and on................the public health bureaucracy FAILED the American public..........fatally..
Agree. Except, Trump wasn’t late on the China travel ban. He did it in late January, pretty early in the game. Indeed, it was a good instinct.

The CDC testing issues were a bloody shame. Eventually, they had to admit failure - and private labs started doing testing in a day or two, no problems. Ditto for PPE. Later, everyone was complaining that China bought up the entire global supply. Why weren’t OUR dumb bureaucrats thinking ahead, and buy the stuff in time?

And it’s true - with thousands of people dying in Wuhan, our big name experts couldn’t put two and two together, and recognize that the disease was indeed jumping from person to person, and very fast.
