Howard, Greetings from Cyberspace! I sold my Feb 17.5 call Options for an average price of $1.78 US. So about $19.25 is about a break even point for me. Even if CREAF rockets north to $22/share range befroe Feb 20th, I still got a fair rate of return on my money (although you would get the rest, ha!)....

You are right. I gave up any big spikes to gather about an 8% return on CREAF for holding her about four weeks (and of course had eposure on the downside too!).

I agree with your analysis of CREAF long -term. Short-term, if you look at a chart of the 50-day moving average price of CREAF, we still have a little more potential downside pressure on the stock. Hence I sold call options for a short period to see if I could make a few dollars while the chart pattern has not yet turned upward and IMO the stock "channels" for a while.....

Now speaking of options, what do you think of selling a call option, and then moving upward in price a notch or two and simultaneously buying a call option just to protect yourself while short the lower priced call option against a "runaway stock"?

Sincerely,

Doug F.
