Speak nicely to your robot masters and we may be their pets. My cat has a better life than almost any human I know. It has free reign of the palace - it can go outside or seek shelter when it wants - it can get food or attention when it wants - it has no knowledge of the difficulty that others go through to provide it that life. It is loved and admired for being nothing more than a symbol of responsibility-free existence. When it fell ill - we were there to save it. That is my android future. Solar and fusion powered. Shining city on the hill. Beware of what we imagine because all of our fates depend upon the imagination of someone. We might as well imagine something beautiful.
