Herd immunity has always worked in the past for viral infections, we are here.

Covid mutates about once every two weeks in an area. It is only 30,000 bases long, it could not mutate each infection.

In the 7 million cases in the US, there have been less than 10 proven cases of multiple infections.

Best solution is to stay healthy, get outside and take vitamin D. Be social and happy.

Please study Nextstrain for the histories of other infections as well as Sar-Cov-2. This steady, slow mutation interval allows following the infection path around the world and inferring the number infected.

Here is a plot of the sequenced Covid showing a maximum number of mutations of 29, in India, implying a large number of infected in India.
