John, The article was off the mark. Direct boadcast satellite companies will be the first to deliver HDTV transmissions. Every DBS company I've talked to is excited about the possibilities to expand their audience by offering HDTV. Their primary concern, however, is that Zenith and the other CE manufacturers will not have sufficient hardware on the market when they start their HDTV 'shows'. Local broadcasters will kill the cable companies whom don't upgrade to digital. The bloodbath should begin in early '99. Anyone know of any good antenna manufacturers for a 'rabbit ears' play?
