We have never been that type of format since we stated in 1995. This format, once you get use to it, is the best format for chat. I have been on chat sites since the late 80's and SI's layout and navigation is the best out there. Threaded views are old technology. Just my opinion. Give it time to learn the site.

Look for the "View Replies" tag on the bottom of a post if you really want to see a given set of replies. Threaded view, IMHO as a former programmer, is an artificial construct based on the assumption that conversations are linear. Rather, they are tangential and "in the moment". For example, I say "How about that Dodgers win today!" You say "Yeah, I'm old enough to remember the Dodgers back at Ebbets field." Others then don't say, "No, no. Don't change the subject." Rather, they can choose to reply to either topic or perhaps both at the same time, as well as choose to reply directly to a message or go off on a tangent. Just like in the "real world". - Jeff
