I don't understand why American music is filled with what ends up being Mondegreens to so many of us native English-speakers (as entertaining as a lot of misheard lyrics might be). en.wikipedia.org Another peeve: I think modern actors attend mumbling classes. I am forced to turn on CC while watching nearly anything created in the last couple of decades. Although I can't rule out the fact that my hearing is not as acute as it once was.
