The true voting fraud in the US is the pervasive vote suppression. This is accomplished by a range of methods, mainly by just making it hard for people in certain districts to vote. Making voting day fall on a working day is blatantly anti-democratic, and is intended to disenfranchise workers who are less likely to be able to take time off work. Another effective vote-suppression measure is having very few voting places, and making the target voters (typically brown-skinned) have a long way to go, and often a long time waiting in line.
