Dang, but I can't for the life of me remember the name of that show, but is it the one that aired on February 9, 1969, and was supposed to give Laugh-In a run for the money, but many network affiliates blanked it off the air before it was half over? Is that the TV show you are thinking of?

While I was busy at work on the Boink thread, that dang show's name just came to me out of the blue--"Turn-On"--and it was telecast on February 5, 1969. Which brings up another two trivia quetiosn: Who was that show's sponsor, and who was its only guest star? And for added bonus points, can you name the show's "star?"
