It was more the rumor that Geac is in aquisition mode I found interesting. Read that the Canadian dollar will make aquisitions quite attractive in Canada right now.This link suggests that mergers in technology sector will be interested in companies that are internet based. Maybe I misunderstand it.

White Shoes, our initial research is indicating that ExpressFax may have originated with Novell (or even recently did). The name certainly did with respect to WordPerfect/DOS and SQ also has other alliance(s) with Novell...
