H&Q has comented yesterday on CSCO deal with US WEST regarding out of state ATM network (within 14 states cover by US West NN is the sulplier,US West -NN agreement , spring 1997).H&Q was thinking that may be??? CSCO -US West pact could hurt NN, although he did not have any evidence.We know that Telecoms like to have more then one vendor!.So similary like SBC Warburg Inc.a lot of IF?,may be ? exactly during quiet period when NN can not make coments!!.Delay in shipment?.Huge demand on NN products results in shortage of hardware and may be for this reasons ATM WAN is GROWING ONLY !!! 15% quarter by quarter.This tells me that demand for ATM exeeds NN expectations-nice problem.
