i wish i were a more seasoned technician so that i could provide more specific answers. the significance, as i understand it: the tighter the squeeze, the more internal strength for any resulting move. i am not sure i understand what you mean by clues from the up or down move: once the move is made, in this case, an uptrend... we can only watch to see how much pop it contains. understand it is only one of several upside indicators here, and once it goes up, or down, i don't see it reversing... i hope that helps: i am no expert, merely an observer, who tries to read what i can to understand these nuances.
