"He's more concerned about how negatively the pandemic would affect his chances for re-election." I think you have pointed out that he'd be cruising if he had successfully contained corona early on. I agree with that.

Good list of things he's done wrong on covid. But this is similar to how he handles most things. Look at the trade wars he's started that have done nothing for American mfg, employment, or ag exports..

Not only are most of your points debatable, but not a single one caused a covid death. This guy put together a task force and spent every single day the past nine months trying to control this disease, and minimized deaths. Fast tracking medicines saved lives and investing in millions of doses of vaccine will end the pandemic. He has been the best medicine president ever. I can't imagine how anyone could have managed it better. BTW, Fauci is a politician. First he said don't wear masks, then he said wear them. He is no saint and should keep his bureacratic mouth shut sometimes.

I tend to agree excepting the following few... - Thinks "herd immunity" is a viable strategy. Unfortunately this is the only viable strategy even with a vaccine. The virus isn't going away so herd immunity is necessary. - Still blames China for COVID-19, even though we're WAY beyond that point now. Yes we are but they are still at fault. - Refuses to do common-sense things like: + Come up with a plan to manufacture and distribute a vaccine even before its FDA approval. He has put the military in charge of this and I expect if the time comes they'll perform admirably. + Work with states to come up with guidelines for mask-wearing and indoor gatherings. Now you're talking like a democrat. This should be up to the states and not the federal government. - Is so arrogant that he thinks "disinfectant and UV light" are "outside the box" solutions. Now you sound like Brumar
