not a thing surprises me, but the RMB is strengthening & the economy will expand much further
before it levels out... it projects to be +10% in 2021. the Chinese consumer will be able to
increasingly afford a healthier lifestyle and this includes their preferences for luxury/ & imported goods.
the need to export is lessened (Mexico, closer to the U.S., has cheaper labor costs).

I think the fly in the ointment (eventually) is the Chinese gender imbalance and population gentrification &
the willingness of the younger generation to support their elderlies into old age (only government
retirees receive pensions & the rest... mediocre/ little/ none)

for now I think investment in China is a very good opportunity but eventually (long after most of us here
are long gone) like the models of Japan & Korea
