I think Uncle Warren also owns lots of homes through Berkshire, although they could include lots of mobile homes.

I think the home ownership rate is something like 62%, in line with historical norms and well below the spike up to 66% or so during the housing bubble.

We'll see how things work out after the forbearance periods are over in the end of December. That may cause some seismic shifts in the housing market, including a lot of foreclosures.
