Failure to appreciate the individuality of each cycle in a cyclical = trouble.

The HDD downcycle is not over yet. Demand has to pick up first. In order for that to happen, certain drivers of demand need to materialize.

Candidates:
1. Win98
2. NT 5
3. Increased B/W
4. AUI
5. DVD

Realize that none of these candidates are yet reality. As is the nature of cycles, it's quite possible that many of these factors may arrive together, explosively stimulating demand and sparking an upcycle in both HDD and RAM.
