<Yes I made an off the cuff guess based on a couple estimates early on.>

And it was a decent guess based on the curve for the covid infected population in a geo-bound area. But the spread continues and it has now reached the rural areas. So deaths continue although at a significantly lower rate, as you predicted.

In Queens, New York during the March-April period, population samples showed as high as 50% of the people with antibodies. The death rate there was about 4,000/million, which today could be comparable to 1000/million. USA overall is at about 700/million. So herd immunity at 1000/million in USA (if it has happened in Queens, NY) is about 100,000 deaths away. You can decide whether that is near or far enough.

<Look at the stats and tell me why I am wrong about herd immunity>

I have not studied your data yet, but I will. Thanks for contributing meaningful data.

"Most people who've recovered from COVID-19 do make antibodies against the virus. But so far, there's no evidence that this will protect them against the virus if they're exposed to it again." "In South Korea, more than 160 people tested positive again after they had recovered from COVID-19. In China, 5%-10% of people tested positive again after they'd recovered, according to news reports. I've read reports that at least two people for sure were reinfected, and died from the second infection. It could be like the common cold or flu, in that a person can catch them over and over. The problem is at this stage no one knows exactly what they're dealing with. At this point it hasn't been sorted out for sure, if heard immunity is possible. I had it and for sure hope that I do have immunity now, but I'm not counting on it. I'm following the advice of scientist and MD, not listening to political spin hacks whose interest isn't necessary conducive to truth. From the beginning Trump and his hacks politicized CV-19 by claiming it was a D. hoax, when I confront his people with that truth instead of admitting the fact he was lying, they still try to spin that in a way that favors him. Absolutely do not have any respect those people, if they tell me the sun is shining, I'm going outside to look.
