Joe, and all. Just wanted to correct a statement that I made the other day when I said that AWARE owned licensing to DMT technology. One of the thread readers was kind enough to point out to me privately that it was AMATI, now part of Texas Instruments, that owns those rights. Sorry for any inconvenience that I may have caused (especially if you bought 5 thousand shares of AWARE based on my confusion). However, since AWARE's stock has risen last couple of days since I mis-spoke, at least it didn't cost you any money! I am now out of PAIR. Bailed out yesterday and today with a very slight loss. I had great hopes last week that earnings announcement and FALCON release would move PAIR quickly to the $24 dollar area, but the proliferation of ADSL announcements from other vendors, the US West loss, the MVL anouncement (which I view as a great technology if it lives up to promises), all served to kill what should have been a strong rally. As I thought it would, PAIR had its best earnings quarter in a while. Contrary to Strauch's humble forecasts, I would expect PAIRs earnings from the core business to grow slightly in both of the next two quarters. Beyond that I have no idea. But I also believe the bloom is off the rose in regards to a promising ADSL growth picture. I think the momentum players have recognized that over the past few months and that is the reason why most of the ADSL stocks have given ground. Looks like MVL (if it lives up to its promises) could capture a great chunk of the Internet access market, while ADSL will slowly find its way to those people requiring (not just WANTING) greater bandwidth. I have not given up on PAIR, I just want to move to something more consistent (Tanslation, getting too damn old for this volatility!). Maybe I'll take some of my money and buy drugs! Check this chart.... woulda-coulda-shoulda!fast.quote.com Will still monitor this thread in the future and wish all well! Regards, Knip Sorry, the URL didn't copy over in an accessible form. Just look at a monnthly chart of Eli Lilly (LLY).
