Judd,re:'last scary story'. This is the reason 'sunw' doesn't command higher PE. I like to predict, we'll see affordable 'Sun workstation or NC' to stem that stupid MSFT's monopoly tide, it has to or we'll have 2 governments collecting tax from us. ( coincidentally, the head of the government are: Bill Gate and Billgate. MSFT has a free ride from the public's support to do away with 'not so good' product. My kid has to restore stuff from 'disk image' once every 3 months since things get lost and won't work and won't tell what is missing. The number is definitely on MSFT's side and sunw is the only one that may have a fighting chance.
