''The bottom line is that it was a foregone conclusion there was going to be profit-taking this morning, but the key is that the Dow held right around 7930, and this bodes very well for the market,'' said Charles Payne of Wall Street strategies.

''What's great today is that you have some beleaguered groups like the disk drive makers, which had been written off, now leading the market,'' Payne said.
