Re: redemption of warrants.

DSWLF adhered to the pattern you have observed. It dropped when the company announced it would redeem warrants about a week or so ago, but has been climbing the last few ways. Your short-then-long strategy would have paid off very well.

I am long on this company. It's in China but nearly all its business is done in dollars. Lots of cash, ridiculously low PE thanks to Asia jitters, new business coming on line, well positioned to buy up any weak competitors done in by current troubles. On the minus side is the unpredictability of the Chinese government, very thin trading in the stock, and (in my mind) more than the usual uncertainty about the accuracy of their SEC filings, due to the fact that the SEC has no real way to enforce sanctions if they cook the numbers while living beyond range of extradition.

To your list of stocks that redeem warrants, I would add MVSI. I know first hand it did darn well what you just mentioned.
