You'd better come up with a reason, because it's coming to you. Well, duh! But aside from "caring", is there anything else you suggest? As far as it coming for me, the Dems who control my state, Maryland, are doing a pretty fair job of destroying my little town without - yet - setting fire to anything. They just shut everything down for the pandemic, their new favorite thing, and the entire place is a ghost town, with the exception of the Walmart and the Home Depot. Yes, they will probably get around to looting those 2 places, maybe even setting fire to them. But I don't need to worry about them coming to me. In this case, social decay is like gravity - action at a distance.
