I have worked and lived in Africa also and have been managing ( retired now) some sizable agricultural operations with almost exclusively black an Latino labor. I feel I understand their culture and their opinions pretty well. Out of all that time I have learned that often we will disagree on many things but were always respectful of each other's opinion and got a lot accomplished because of that attitude. But the main beef I always had was the victim hood attitude of a lot of non working people, always put the blame somewhere else. My family hundreds of years ago was ravaged and plundered by the French and Spanish and more recently by the Germans.People were hauled off for forced labor but can I go to those governments now and ask for compensation? Ridiculous indeed! It is easy to hold your hand out but if you talk about effort, self improvement, picking yourself up , hard work to get somewhere, a lot of these whining people do not want to hear any of that. And I am sick of that attitude, and I am aware of Trevor and as educated and well read as he is , he should know better.
