OK, one more crack at the marginability issue and then I will be forever silent on this topic. Called my broker again. He says Nasdaq has confirmed it will be officially marginable on the 9th of February. Then he spoke to Q and R margin department who said a number of MMs were currently dealing in the stock as though it were fully marginable and that Q and R would be considering it marginable for their accounts on Wednesday, Feb. 4th. However, he said everything but the Feb. 9th date was unofficial. So that's it.
