Re <<Short Tesla Strangles>>

yes

or computer gaming

the coconut (16) shall walk w/ Jack and I this day and talk options, and position her own portfolio this day

she is up 40% this YTD - she was / remains long DRD and cash

the talk re options has to do w/ her birthday present that must close-out 19th february

little jack (10) is down ~5% YTD, simply because he was short TSLA and long DRD (the real-time app does not do options)

Both kids started the year at 10K and traded a bit. Jack more so that Coconut. He tends to fidget as I do.

... and yes, whilst in Cape Town May/June, he did ask, "Dada, are you sure it is still a good idea to short Tesla?"

and before selecting to do below choice of birthday present Message 32988472 he did explicitly say "well, anything can happen in the market"

Jack's present of his own design is all-in long DRD February call-15, bought in at 1.50

In both games (the annual portfolio game, and the birthday portfolio game, the kids get to keep the gains.

In the past the Coconut had always simply bought some gold coins by use of the gains and handed them to me. Jack spends some on computer games, and toys, and saves the rest.
