franf3,

I've been on this thread since Aug. and have only made money selling naked calls on DELL so far! Hope you have better luck then I have with my straight short position! Will be leaving later today and may take the kids and wife on a weekend get-a-way! Might stay away for awhile if the market continues up! Believe it or not is in the 60's here and suppose to get even nicer through the weekend! Hope you and your family can come see us this summer!

Hank

Frank3, If DELL hits a 52 week high, you are toast because the momo boys will jump in and the stock will run away! Hope you have a buy stop.
But I am on your side, since I am hoping to go long b/w $89 and $91.

McNabb, do you still think we will see $60 DELL??

Frank,

Welcome to the thread. Enjoy your ride. I honestly hope that you
will be the first bear in history that leaves this thread with a
profit.

To help you find some bearish arguments (you gonna have painfull
days which will make you doubt if you made the right decision)
I give you a link where you can find the Lehman Bros. analyis
on Dell.

lehman.com

I already have to make you a compliment with your excellent timing,
2 1/2 weeks before earnings, a very likely split-announcement etc.

Could you give us a few clues about why you think Dell is overvalued.
We really miss postings like that. Many, many months ago, Dell trading
in the 70's we recived bearish comments and analysis on a daily
basis on the how and why from our favorite bear(s) Hank (!).
But for some reasons I don't know that stopped.

Anyhow, good luck and I'll hope you will learn from your mistakes.

Have a nice weekend.

Paul

Hi Frank, how are you doing today.

I see it as my duty to keep you company on your lonely and rough
ride on the Dell-bull. I will try to give you some helpfull "tips"
to get you through the darkest days.

In case you are worried about Dell's action today; DON'T.
They belong to Dell's normal behaviour. So "business as usual
today".

Maybe this is not what you expected when you shorted
Dell at 99, but believe me, soon you get used to it.

I understand it when it make you nervous, but hang on to your plan.
Since you went short on Dell nothing has changed. If you thought
it was overvalued at 99, then it sure is overvalued at 105.

So stay calm, relax and sit back.

Next week we will discuss topics like "averaging the way up" and
"selling naked calls" to speed up your losses.
And believe me, although it will be an expensive lesson, it will be
worth-while.

Have a nice day(!),

Paul
