So you have 4 in your house including the AR15? To me that's a lot. I've always had an interest in weapons, especially military weapons but have never owned a gun of my own.....BTW, I was born and raised in PA, not exactly an anti-gun state. I would guess about 75% of the homes in my neighborhood have guns....we had an occasion about 10 years ago where the teen age boy next door broke his neck during a pick up football game, he was paralyzed from the chest down..... They were a lovely family of four with son and a daughter. About a year and half later the daughter, of college age, was killed in a traffic accident in which her neck was broken.....the father absolutely flipped out, threw me and my family out of his house when we went to console him and began to hate the world.....to make matters worse his wife developed breast cancer. The situation scared me because I knew the son had a shot gun and now the father was very unstable and hateful of all of us....had he chosen to take his own life it would not have surprised me....I cautioned my wife to walk on eggs around him and to be very very careful of what she said to him..... I sighed a great sigh of relief when they moved to another state a year or so after that. The entire town had extreme pity for the family and no one could blame him (the father) for the hatred he now had for the world, but that shotgun was always in my mind... I was just out on an errand and drove by that gun shop again.....they were still standing 10-15 deep waiting to get in...the first time I saw them was Thursday andI expected to see the same scene today...
