Crystallex Issues Statement VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- At the request of the Toronto Stock Exchange, Crystallex International Corporation (Amex: KRY) (Toronto: KRY.) is making the following statement concerning the recent increase in its stock price and trading volume. "Crystallex believes that the recent market activity in Crystallex's stock may be influenced by rumours concerning its operations and properties in Venezuela. Crystallex met yesterday with Venezuela's Minister of Energy and Mines and other officials and has further meetings scheduled for today. A wide variety of matters are under discussion but Crystallex has no announcements to make at this time concerning the Cristinas concessions. "The Supreme Court of Venezuela is currently considering Crystallex's application seeking enforcement of its ownership rights over the Cristinas 4 & 6 gold concessions. Crystallex understands that this application is being considered by the Court in the ordinary course. Crystallex has no information as to any specific time when the Court will issue a decision."
