Hi Candle
Here's my e-mail to Cnbc.
I used to be one of your big supporters, but I must admit that your credibility with me and a lot of other investors is wearing thin.
Back a month ago, you did the Maria B debacle " Lucent to buy Ascend", and never once appologised for the mistake.
Then this morning Maria B and Bob Isani, comes out with a report that Cymer Inc missed earnings and will open, down 2 points. The reality was that Cymer exceeded expectations, opened up 1 3/4 and the only negative Cymer released was going forward into the next Qtr. You did not mention that Cymer also announced a $50mil stock buyback.
The point here is, I'm starting to feel that your reporters are becoming stock manipulators rather than factual business journalists.
Your Acsend debacle should have initiated a Law Suit, in my opinion.
A very disappointed Cnbc viewer

<<Please! Make a correction on todays show! Thank you.>>

A few comments like this is just what is needed for them to make negative comparisons to the fanatics at motley fool with IOM. It may be just me, but this kind of thing sounds so desperate and devoid of good sense. If one is to write an analyst or commentator, common curtsy is much more persuasive, if your argument is sound, let the logic do the work. Enough of this kind of ranting and raving at these people, it is offensive and unproductive. Nothing personal here but I have wanted to mention this for some time.

Thanks,

Ed

Unfortunately, today's corporate email servers can send off a canned response (which CNBC does) for certain coporate email addresses (i.e. info@cnbc.com. Given the volume they receive, they probably parse it down further so that our voice is little heard.
