Or they took it out b/c a whacko guy was mumbling conspiracy rants...but of course you cannot see your own reflection in the mirror.

Anyways, you got two nations unhappily stuck in a union. There is only 3 ways this can go: (1) one side annihilates the other [hint - this is not going happens, as much as many of you guys itch for it] (2) Get a divorce [this is not going to happen either for a lot of reasons, but mostly b/c the Red States will not be able to survive as a modern country on their own and will want to have their cake and eat it too] (3) America goes back to its roots as a collection of loosely aligned states and a very weak central government. The Red states mingle amongst themselves, and the Blue ones do the same. Every so often a much weakened Federal government plays referee between the two. Call this Union-Confederate 2.0. This is the most likely and best outcome for everyone. And as far as I can tell, it is also the solution that both sides seem to agree on. So just go ahead and choose politicians that push for this solution and be done with it.
