henry - just sold my shares, just stepping to the sidelines to watch. not happy with how things have been going, don't see what is going to lift the share price up. The light knife is a non-starter, a deal on CATZ will not be the kind of thing that is going to make a big difference, the X-ray litho thing got some money to proceed with constructing a production machine but JMAR is going to have to find monies to continue develop of the point source from other sources. We know the current x-ray device can do 5 to 10 wafers an hour but this info seems to be several years old and there has been no info on the preformance of the current design which is supposedly being tested. Jmar is not another Cymi and the the point source works on completly different physical principles, it not anywhere as elegant of a solution. The x-ray litho thing is a risky venture and could become a hole to throw research money into, the outcome of which jeopardizes the value of the PPL division which has good products and is by itself a good investment. We don't know what is going to happen about aquiring another laser outfit like Sante Fe and get burned on the deal or if Jmar is going to develop these facilities for construction of diode pumping for lasers in house at a greater cost.
This has all gotten beyond my toleration for the kind of risk I want in my account so I have to follow my insticts. - - Dick Martin

HJ--Management of most public companies regard small shareholders
as a pain in the as*, and treat them as such.
This is nothing new.
