The CC to which you refer was about Iomega only, and did seem to create a bump in the stock price.

My comment about Emerald's Groundhog's Day conferences was based on observation of the last two, in '96 and '97. In both cases, there was a lot of anticipation that the conference would bring news and renewed price appreciation. It didn't happen either time.

We really should keep our expectations low. It is always easier to deal with an upside surprise.
