I wouldn't be overly concerned. You can call there and ask what the delay is. Though Alta is relatively small it is well run. It is worth taking a position. I might add that South African mines are also worth a look. Today, Greenspan and Rubin have publicly stated Congress must do more to assist the Asian crisis. Greenspan said exceptionally high financial risks bordering on panic, and that US investors have lost in excess of $30 billion! Rubin wants $100 billion of our dollars to save his friends from their risky investments. How cozy. I've lost a drop in the bucket by comparison but Greenspan won't even return my calls! Yet, the American public is expected to save the day. If not, we all may suffer. BS. It is the same song and dance they gave us to assist Mexico. Same song, different day. Just be careful of another gov't sponsored gold confiscation if all hell breaks loose. Listen between the carefully chosen words.
