If he can get it done at IBM, it's going to be a huge move forward for IBM. Changing a legacy company is the challenge. They have many of the pieces to do so.

FWIW, I have very small play in PLTR that has cloud based Big Data services that integrates custom AI software solutions for their customers. Stock is on the move w/ their first post IPO earnings after the close.

Lets see how much cash they are burning but analysts have them growing 30% or more.

PLTR has been running Big since my Buys late last month at/below $9.50/share. Pre-market $16.34/share +2.5%.

I really believe IBM can do exactly what PLTR does. To me it's just another custom 'hybrid' cloud solution.

HI Johnny,

I think it will take a quarter or two yet, but this is a valid turnaround story.

Severance pay for employees, divisional sales and spinoff's will take time and money, but the Red Hat takeover of the IBM culture looks to be legit to me.

My rule of thumb has been 2 years from the acquisition to get it right sized.

I'm beginning to think a turnaround is in the works, and IBM accumulation should be done on dips.
