<<I find it hard to believe that paine Weber, Dean Witter, etc. would be calling about this stock. Makes me wonder.>>

Keep in mind that much of what is posted is hearsay. We don't know who said what or to whom as regards the info re Brokerages.

For example, when we dial in to the Conference Call, one of the first questions is 'What is your company or affiliation?'. Suppose a shareholder is a janitor for Smith Barney and replies "Smith Barney".
Presumably the question of company is recorded somewhere and it could very easily be assumed (wrongly) by the PR firm that the Smith Barney employee is a broker.

A lot of the speculation on this thread is based on similar hearsay,
where (seemingly reasonable) assumptions are made and then many permutaions are debated back and forth to no avail. The same applies to much of LE's dissection of the Press Releases. We all recognize that the press releases are poorly written and incomplete. To then base analysis and get all emotional over someone's (anyone's, not just LE) interpretation of those releases is unreasonable.

At this point we have made our bets (most of us) and now we have to wait for the audited financials (I know I sound like a broken record). I personally accept Ira's estimate of .11 "or thereabouts"
and I don't believe for a nanosecond that he was using creative verbiage to obscure the "real results". Hopefully the report is out next week (as estimated but NOT PROMISED).

Be careful out there.

David please call her at 310-789-1132 to double check.

But as I recall and I wrote down some of the firms that she had listed in her log book of the firms that had called and submitted questions.

I know we got to be careful, but this is what she said, so someone else please check my source.

David, Firamada has publicized recent press releases in INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY (1-2-98 issue) and BARRON'S (1-12-98 issue).

FAMH has also made an effort to raise awareness in the investment community.

I also know from my conversations with Preferred Financial (PR Firm) that they have nearly 400 brokers they are in touch with in promoting the companies they represent.

They contact brokers about the conference calls. They also print out a list of the brokers that participate in the conference call. In addition to Paine Webber and Dean Witter, they have brokers from Prudential, Boston Group, and AG Edwards that have expressed interest in FAMH.

Sure this is a BB stock, but I think if you have something good to tell, you try to let people know.

I'm glad they're doing this, because when the fundamentals are verified, there will be more activity in the stock.

Best wishes,
Brad
