Since I no longer have a team I root for, I find myself watching games where I think I would enjoy the QB's performance. This, plus getting older, may reflect my drop in interest. I remember going to a meeting of Salesmen in LA back in 59 where the draw was the attendance by the "fearsome foursome" of the Rams. Those were the days.

The first thing free agency did when it kicked into high gear in the 1990s was it instantly killed off all rivalries. Raiders/Chiefs went from a bitter rivalry to just another game almost overnight. Since then, if you want rivalries, you have to watch college football.
