Valuations in Germany are fine actually. Stock cap is around 40% of gdp. Only US stock market shot to all time highs, many foreign stock markets are still hovering just above March 2020 bottom, which in Europe is close to 2016 bottom. That does not mean they shoot up from there because their governments don’t seem to care about blowing stock bubbles like in USA. They pay people not banks. In the USA people were abandoned to die of Covid without a job, government help, or health insurance. They rally against lockdowns because lockdowns strip people from their ability to provide for their families and don’t replace that lost income with a government assistance.
