It's the opposite. We have cases where someone died with COVID and it was marked as COVID. So if you died in a car crash with COVID, the hospital marked it COVID. Why? Because the hospital gets more money from the government when they have COVID deaths, but get nothing for any other kinds of deaths. This has inflated the COVID death counts. According to the CDC, they estimate of the 240K deaths, around 130K are from other root causes, NOT COVID. But that doesn't fit the narrative we are being force-fed. So the media buries this information. We need true data science and critical thought as input into problem solving, not political ideology.

Think of the trade-offs, because no one else is thinking of the trade-offs. It is estimated that lockdowns have put an additional 150 million people around the world into extreme poverty. In the US, we put 40 million people into unemployment during the last lockdown. Diseases like polio and tuberculosis that were once thought mostly eradicated are making comebacks due to the singular and obsessive focus on COVID to the exclusion of all else. Mental health issues include suicide, depression, and anxiety have skyrocketed among the younger generations. It is so alarming that psychiatrists and psychologists are sounding the alarm and sharing charts that look like hockey sticks. And all for what? To save a few more old people at the expense of the health, prosperity, and happiness of the next two generations. This is the product of narcissistic and sick minds among the Baby Boomer generation. It is unconscionable. They are too self-absorbed to prioritize the younger generations over themselves.
