What comes after NAND? Is there any agreement?

Can NAND just increasing the number of layers as long as line widths keep shrinking?

Thanks for the reply Sam. When I first saw that MU earnings would be on January 7, instead of the normal December date, I thought something was up. Then when the three investor presentations were announced (https://investors.micron.com/news-releases/news-release-details/micron-technology-announces-upcoming-investor-events-11) and Sanjay will speak on December 1. My thought was that earnings were moved so Sanjay could make a quarterly financial update and not be in the "quiet period" (although the earnings quiet period is somewhat informal and ill-defined).

I would not think that new updated DRAM technology or management speaking at conferences would be a reason for MU to increase over 10% in ten trading sessions. MU today made a 12 month high, and is only about 2 points below an 18 year high.
