Amen Really I realize there's reason's for the stats but it doesn't change the odds and I live life putting odds in my favor to have the best life my family can have. Why other's call it racist just shows their weakness as the race card is all they have.I grew up in Chicagoland and delt with plenty of different minorities, than moved to northern Wisconsin and again the race card with the Indians and now in west central Arkansas as a yankee I'm the minority. Some of these rednecks just don't like Yankees.Kinda funny but I just laugh it off.

He didn't say where he lives.... he didn't provide any statistics... he just made a blanket statement with nothing to back it up....

... of course some areas have higher levels of crime than other areas... but a data point is meaningless unless you provide statistics stating the trends and the variables contributing to the trends...

...meaningless statements are the delusion... they are deliberately meant to mislead through some notion of unwarranted legitimacy...they are a tool of misinformation used to foment hatred based on stereotyping and discrimination...

let him post the neighborhood he lives in ... the trends in crime statistics, the SES profile for the neighbourhood, and the level of migration in and out...

with that information we will all see who is delusional....

... you made good points.. but if you offer an argument you have to follow the logic all the way to the end.

Please don't call people deluded here just because they disagree with you. You are not the Almighty interpreter of Truth and neither am I.

But his comment was racist because he made a sweeping generalization about Black people. Generalizations like that are extremely disrespectful and offensive. I understand the OP probably intended no malice and was just stating a fact. But does that fact hold for Upper middle income Black communities? It primarily holds for young black youth living in the ghetto. Failure to distinguish the prime cause of crime makes the kind of statement the OP made racial.

Crime has its roots primarily in poverty. That's why people steal, burglarize and commit other crimes, including murder.
